The product is great. The drum is of great quality with a nice pure, well-tuned sound. The metal is heavy and even the braided trim is well done. The decorative gourds that hang on the side all arrived broken after their long journey, but they don't have any effect on the function of the instrument. Be sure to read the fine print if the time between ordering and arrival is important. There was a processing time that took one month, then time for shipping and clearing customs added nearly two more months. Although my 10 year-old son was very eager and a bit discouraged at the long wait, once he could play the drum for the first time he agreed that it was worth the wait and recognized that this size and quality of drum wouldn't have been affordable for him otherwise.
