I used the "Veg Trug" app and it worked, then I tried the "Xiaomi Flower care app" and it saw the sensor, so I added it there too. Then I open "Mi home" app again and now it see the sensor in nearby, so I added there too, the only problem is that the language remains chinese even if it's set to another language. ---> A little hint: Before trying to add the sensor on another app, close the other app!! It seems that if the sensor is connected to an app that is open in background the new app is unable to see the sensor. Die Batterie scheint lange zu halten. Ich habe 2 Stück seit 5 Wochen im Einsatz und synchronisiere eigentlich viel zu oft die Daten, aber die Batterie meldet immer noch 99% zurück. Ich habe nun 2 weitere (also insgesamt 4) bestellt, da selbst meine Freundin die Dinger lustig findet.

Ottimo sensore per piante di Xiaomi da poter integrare con la gestione domotica tramite Hass.io o da poter utilizzare, tramite un apposito gateway BLE. Permette di monitorare diversi parametri tra cui luce, umidità terreno, ecc... Il sensore è Bluetooth, quindi se verrà collocato distante dal Raspberry sarà necessario utilizzare necessariamente un Gateway BLE al fine aumentare la portata di funzionamento. Per integrarlo in Hass.io sarà sufficiente dichiarare il sensore nell'apposito file tramite MAC Address.

When I first got mine I had a Huawei P20 (Android 10) and downloaded the free FlowerCare App. Nice looking App, choose your plant from a list with pictures and you get the expected water, temp, fertility, sunlight ranges for that plant. Data can be synced as often as you want. Brilliant. But when I "upgraded" my phone to a OnePlus 9 (Android 11) that app isn't available for that phone/OS so you have to use WatchFlower App @ £0.89 (not a lot but not really worth that little in comparison). This app has a horrible GUI, no plant list, standardised ranges, won't update until a certain time has passed. A disappointing experience. I wholly recommend this sensor but just be aware you might not be able to use the better app depending on which phone you have.

No need to use QRCode and have app in chinese only. Just download the app from the android store : https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.huahuacaocao.flowercare&hl=fr Everything is in english and name of plant are scientific one (latin) so it's easy to find it. I will order more after few months of testing.
