I have installed this remote as a substitute to my garage door opener where the remote was lost - at 1/5th the cost of a new remote controller! I feed it with 24V and the electronics tolerates it - however generally I wouldn't recommend anyone to do so, the relais is of 12V type, but I just activate them for a short while and without a load. The remote is a standard 433 MHz fixed code remote, the code could be cloned easily. Range is about 40m from the garden and about 15m inside the house (though concrete basement ceiling!!!) I recommend this product highly, I'm just going to buy another one. :)
