arrived in good order, taking 16 days in transit is recognised using the drivers from : http://www.st.com/en/development-tools/stsw-link009.html seems good; looking forward to flashing some micro-quads to acro mode using silverxxx's firmware - once they arrive :)

Works well, as described, shipping from UK in just over a week, I flashed all my A8S and X6B receivers now with RSSI and 14CH. You can even flash the FlySky FS-I6 transmitter chip to 14 channels and Turnigy.
