Beautiful engine. Ran okay for an hour or so (not a continuous hour) then stopped due lack of spark. Checked batteries, wiring, all okay. It appears the high voltage module has failed. I notice it is a different module to the one fitted to the horizontal engine, which I also have, and which continues to operate flawlessly. Here is an image of the engine mounted on an aluminium box base I made for it. I hope the high-voltage module is covered by the guarantee.

Nice Quality especially for the price. You cannot machine this for even triple the price. I waited until I saw these on sale for $320. Mine arrived December 19 and it also came with a pull start pulley and the pull start handle and cord. I think this is something that they added to the newer orders. I don’t see the pull start pulley on any of the pictures but I’ve seen it available separately. I would not hesitate to buy again. There are many videos on YouTube of this engine running if you want to see what you are getting before you buy.

Very nice engine for the price. However, tighten all screws (medium quality) well before the first run. On mine, the tank screws didn't fit tight enough. I had to disassemble the radiator to be able to tighten them up. Once the timing and wealth are set right, it turns like a clock, although a little fast for my taste. The replacement of the regulator springs with more flexible springs now gives me a more realistic "pop" for this kind of engine and a range of 40 min. I am now looking at one of the horizontal versions:)

Très joli moteur pour le prix. Cependant, bien serrer toutes les vis ( de qualité moyenne ) avant le premier run. Sur le mien, les vis du réservoir n’entaient pas assez serrées. Il m'a fallu démonter le radiateur pour pouvoir les resserrer. Une fois le timing et la richesse bien réglés, il tourne comme une horloge, quoiqu'un peu vite à mon goût. Le remplacement des ressorts du régulateur par des ressorts plus souples me donne à présent un "pop" plus réaliste pour ce genre de moteur et une autonomie de 40 min. Je lorgne maintenant sur une des versions horizontale :)
