This cool white G9 lamp is .048A at 121 VAC or 5.8 watts. I checked both I with a calibrated Fluke DVM. Checking with a light meter the lux is 125% of a 36 watt halogen and about 45% of a 12W SMD 2835 cool white LED lamp. If all you need is a 60 watt incandescent equivalent you will be happy with this bulb. Physical build quality seems good but electrical is not. Way under powered. These are BIG, About 8 times the size of a halogen bulb and they extend from many smaller fixtures. Check the size carefully before ordering. So far I can't find a real 9 watt G9 base bulb. Perhaps in a year or 2 they will be available though I expect they will be marketed as 12-15 watts by most companies which make them.
