I think it will do its job. It feels comfortable and robust. Yet, the 90° angle is off by ~4mm/1m, which is - in my opinion - significant. I measured this using a 00-class angle, as well as doing a marking, then flipping around, and repeat the marking. The ruler also has same freedom, but the above mentioned 4mm/1m was the best I could achieve.
