This thing go thru batteries really fast. for a day of cooking plan to use 3 sets of batteries at least. range is phenomenal at 12 feet (3.8 meters) go any farther and it will disconnect. if you really hate those 20 dollars get this thermometer.

all good but 1 stainless steel food probes don't calculate your exact temperature. two probes indicate 21 °c e 1 probe indicate 26°c at ambient temperature..... i change the port but don't work.... i'm sorry

ordered 2, can see a few applications. excited to try them for real. even though the packages arrived intact and not crushed or damaged, in one package one of the probes was bent. this made that channel display an error. bending it more straight had it start to work.

The thermostat itself is great, the big and bright numbers allow me to see the temperature far away. Operating of the device is easy, basically on and off. If you want to setup the alarm when temperature reaches your settings, then you have to use the app to do so. The magnets behind could be better so it can be hang/stick on the oven without it easily been sliding downwards. The app, it works. However, for some strange reasons, like almost all other apps from China; It requires to access GPS location, photo/media storage and contacts list. If you denied those access, the app will refuse to pair bluetooth with your thermostat. I allow it once just to test the app and then uninstall it. I can manage to live and use the thermostat within my requirements without the app. Because of the app behaviors, I can't utilize it fully with app and therefore only give 3 stars to value for price and quality.
