It came very quickly, well packed in a cardboard box containing the Tachometer in it's fabric case and instruction book. A number of reflective stickers are supplied that are intended to be attached to the rotating object. These are designed to reflect the laser light back to the instrument so that it can measure the rotational speed in RPM. I found that you could get and save a measurement very quickly and from about six inches to a foot away. You didn't have to get up too close to a rotating object. All told I'm quite pleased with this instrument.
