It does not communicate with standard programming software.Currently unusable device :(

Mike Chapman The output is not 8 watts - it is 2 watts (measured). Nice radio but basically it is like a Baofeng 888s clone or more accurately like a Pofung F3 clone as the voice it uses is a male. Programming with Chirp is not possible - the program you need, if you want your own frequencies, is the same program as used with the Pofung F3 it is called BF480Plus_CPS rom Baofeng website.
