Good enough flashlight. Around 500-600 Lumens. The included battery is quite bad. But it turns the flashlight on. It drains quite fast ¯_(ツ)_/¯ I'm using a samsung 18650 3500mah cell instead. The Samsung is more than 2 times heavier than the included blue one. When it comes to build quality, it's ok. Not exceptional, but pretty good. It's passable. If you need a cheap flashlight for many kinds of use cases, this one is pretty good. It's adequate for a walking light for instance.

  • BG464501832 hi Angelos...when you changed the battery, it becomes heated or not???

  • FishFishFtw Hello. No. It doesn't become heated. Alla these single LED sub 1000 lumens flashlights generally don't overheat. Especially when they have a relatively large body to dissipate hate. This one runs cool 😉

  • FishFishFtw @BG464501832 Generally speaking, most sub 1000 lumens flashlights don't typically overheat. Especially the ones with a relatively big frame (body, build). This one is no exception. It can't overheat since it isn't that powerful but also has a big frame. Neither with its own battery nor with a quality one like the Samsung I used.
I don't think it really changes much when it comes to lumens output and heat generation when replacing the battery on this flashlight. The lumens output seems almost the same to me (if not unchanged at all). Heat generation should also be roughly the same. The only thing that changed is the operation time really... It's 2-3 more. Maybe even longer, didn't really time it 😋

  • abuelojuan la linterna viene con la batería

    Reply 07/02/2021
  • FishFishFtw @abuelojuan Si.

  • spamam Howdo you measure lumens? I bought 3 of them, each has different Lux. But how to convert that to lumens?

    Reply 12/03/2021
  • FishFishFtw @spamam I didn't use any accurate method. I just compares the amount of light coming out of the flashlight with some other branded ones that I own and have roughly the same output.

  • Stefan Karlsson ifincluded battery lasts 2.5 hours on highest mode is bad, according to you for a 10 usd torch. let me just say you write for rewards not for honesty. 90% won't need a stronger battery and 50% will purchase 2 units just because the low price.

  • FishFishFtw @Stefan Karlsson First of all, you can search the whole banggood website and you won't find another review from me. I generally don't leave reviews and when I do, I say what I really think for the product. However when it comes to banggood products, if I remember correctly, this one is the only one I have posted. If you really think that I get paid for that, well, suit yourself, I won't try to convince you any more than that.
Now that we got this out of the way... I haven't tested how long the included battery lasts, but I doubt it's gonna be 2.5 hours. You might as well check again 🙂 How I make money by saying that the included battery is not a good battery, I really don't know. I called it a free battery, didn't even say how long it lasts.
My guess however is that with a 3500mah cell, you will get two times the runtime.

As for the 90%, most people wouldn't want to charge the torch every day, but every week instead, so please reconsider your comments 🙂

  • rwdkai I'm guessing it isn't as bright as the last photos in description?

    Reply 11/01/2022
  • FishFishFtw @rwdkai No. It isn't. It's not even half as bright. To get the kind of Brightness that is shown in that picture, you need a 3000 lumens flashlight. This one doesn't even hit the 1000 lumens mark.
But in order to get such a flashlight, you have to pay 40-50€ or even more, so I think that ~10€ for this one is a fair price and it will service most of the users quite fine. (considering most people use "toy grade" flashlights anyway...).
