I have to say that so far this little monitor has proven to be pretty good. For the price you cannot complain. The pop-up hood is well made. The range is acceptable as is the resolution. I use mine to fly my mini drones as I fly them in and out of the house. The battery life is not great but within acceptable range. I haven't let it drain down yet as I keep a battery bank with it to never run out of juice. I would recommend you do the same.
