Produces decent light, at least for the colour I ordered (light green). Easily visible except in bright light. Easy to power with a power supply, or even a battery, as the device consumes around 1W at 12V. The controller does indeed produce a high pitch squeaking sound, but it is bearly hearable in a normal sound environment. Easy to plug with just a + (red) and - (black and red) cables coming out of the controller. All the pieces are very small and thus easily integrated into a costume for example I would totally recommend this product
