This generator worked well with about 10mm spark gap, but as I increased it to 15mm, it did not last long. It was switched on for only 150ms with microcontroller to a Li battery, after the second time it did not work any more. It's a piti because else it is good and it makes strong sparks. If it's really a 50KV device, it should survive 25mm spark gap.
