Measured with a caliper and it met the AWG spec for 8 gauge wire. The silicone jacket did not melt after 30 seconds with my soldering iron set to 320 degrees C. Very flexible and will meet my needs perfectly. This is a quality wire. I did have to wait 120 days for delivery to the US. Of course, shipping would have been slow in May 2020 when the order shipped.
