These are great kits! I already had a yellow one and liked it enough to get three more. The kit contains two hubs which give a spare if one happens to break. The balls may wear out over time, but by then, you should not need them. Anyway, you can get cheap styrofoam replacements at any crafts store for those.

Wanting to make them yourself only the material (carbon rods, pingpong balls) cost twice as much!!!
