smooth AF. really sensitive to water height. only a few ml difference between "not using the top perc" and "nasty water hitting your mouth". once you get it dialled in, works great. looks really impressive in use too. decently thick as far as I can tell. The handle on the cone piece is easy to hold. pretty happy with it
