I purchased the cord to tie off my hammock to a tree. Cool looking, camouflaged paracord. The specs of this cord told me I would be able to hold appr. 250Kg. (550Lbs) Luckily I am only about 90Kg and the cord held me perfectly so to me that was strong enough. Despite the small diameter of the cable (I admit it was a bit scary dangling on that) Sad thing is, the cord stretches a huge lot, so the hammock touched the floor because of the sagging cord in no time.Tying it off again and didn't help, it kept on stretching. I will have to look at a different cordage or straps for my hammock adventure I'm afraid. I'll have to find some other use for it now.
