This work well, and the ability to use 12 volts is hard to find and useful to me. Note that this is a string of individual colored LEDS not a string of variable color LEDS. Therefore any color other than the primary Red, Green, or Blue are a combination of LEDs. It is a cheaper approach. I will be using this for a side lit application and I suspect it will work fine for this. The remote works well and even include the battery cell. There are a few remote buttons that seem to be for a more advanced string, but overall no complaints there either.

Controller does not work, doesn't seem to be programed properly, I have another controller which I was able to control some of the functions with, but if you don't have another controller you will be unable to use this product.
