This really saved time and money ! I was not sure about the model of my Blender, because it is not listed in the description, but if you happen to own a Kitchenaid model 5KSB5EER3 serie WM0456041, IT WORKS !!! The tool is a must if you want to change the gear by yourself, and you will need a nice monkeywrench too if you want to do the trick nicely. I ordered the 2pcs pack because it is not the first time this gear goes wrong on my blender (well, it's 18 years old, that's a good excuse).My guess is that the plastic of the original gear does not age well when used thoroughly, and I am glad to have a spare one just in case. I really recommend this item.
