Bought this to replace a Bluetooth controller for some neo pixels in the bedroom. With a remote I thought it would be better than getting my phone out every time I wanted to change the sequence or colour. The item works well with a good range of sequences. It is NOT IR (infrared) it is RF (radio frequency). Under normal circumstances this would be better, however the remote uses the same signal as the ones for my LED strip lights and changing settings on this turns off my strip lights. RF remotes really need to pair with a device to prevent remote interference.
