I installed the sensor in the basement and the receiver in the bedroom. It's heard all over the apartment. So I mean to protect my stuff in the basement. For now, it works great even if between the sensor and the receiver is about 15 meters apart and two 20 cm thick concrete. I'm only interested in the battery life.
