I bought this thinking that since its a lower frequency ill get better results but 1.2ghz antennas are hard to find or they are expensive using the linear antwnnas it comes with you get a worse signal than using 5.8ghz with circularly polarized antennas. Its weird because lower frequencies travel further so 5.8/1.2 should give you around 4.8 times the distance on 1.2 than on 5.8 but in my case 1.2 did much worse.
