This is a very nice gripper tool, sturdy and very flexible to open the water hose clamps. Basically, it does the job and saves a big deal of time. However, there are 2 small things that could be better: 1) The locking ratchet had very big spaces, very often it is not lockable in the desired position. It goes most of the time like no grip on the clamp-*click*-clamp fully pressed. Sometimes you need something in between to fine adjust the clamp position for example. 2) The corners of the opening latch should be bent a bit upwards to catch the clamp. So it is sliding off the clamp very often. But this can be fixed if you have some tools at home.
