Analogue version. If you use this little quad for its intended purpose, i.e. long distance fpv cruising, it's an excellent little model. It is well made, light and flies very well ( good tune) The camera and vtx are more than adequate considering the price this sells for. Flight times are long !! If you want to do freestyle aerobatics I'd get something a bit stronger, this won't stand up to the hard knocks that you might inflict on it ! Downsides :- 1, Complete lack of any instructions, it took me a while to work out that there is a solder jumper pad on the underside of the flight control board to allow Ibus connection. As shipped it's set up for Sbus. The solder pads are very small and need careful soldering. Tricky for anyone not proficient at soldering. 2, The Gps will not get a lock under any circumstances when connected to the fc board ! ( I've spent quite a lot of time testing this ) It's not faulty, when powered up on its own it gets a lock very quickly . I'm going to try a better Gps module as I've read mixed reviews on the one that comes with it as standard. Overall I'm very pleased with this quad. I wouldn't recommend it for complete beginners however as you definitely need some prior experience to set it up to its full potential !

  • chris Does it have a port for a Frsky XM receiver or would it have to be soldered.

  • 1965davidm As shipped the xm receiver would plug in to the receiver socket without any soldering to the flight control board . It's already set up for frsky sbus.

  • 1965davidm Yes it will plug straight in to the receiver socket. Stock setup is for frsky/sbus

  • 1965davidm with the Jumper t lite transmitter I would personally use the Radiomaster R81 frsky receiver. I've used these for a while now and am very impressed with the range and easy binding procedure, plus the price is good and they are very small so no problem fitting into a small space.
Otherwise an XM+ receiver would also be ok.

  • Quetiano Theoriginal Gps is working from my personal experience, what I did was after some trial and error, I removed the gps wiring that travels under the vtx which lays on the carbon fiber frame, and allowed it to travel freely above the vtx to the gps. After a few minutes, I managed to get gps lock on 8 satellites.
