Product built on 3 x 3W LED and a voltage converter enabling an operation from 9V to more than 24V (not tested beyond, the spec says 80V). Nevertheless, the converter starts to operate around 12.5V, which means that the current decreases above 12.6V with voltage (ie 0.5A at 18V, ie 9W), but also decreases under 12.6 with a decrease of luminous power. Consumption is maximum at 12.6V at about 1A, which means 12.6W and maximum heat losses.
