I bought the 2mm Grooving Tool and inserts some time ago and liked them. The 1.5mm width seemed appropriate for smaller cutoff work. They perform very well in my small lathe.

These inserts saved our company a lot of money. We are parting off 303 Stainless, 1045 steel, 1018 steel an Aluminum. They are great. Not as good as ISCAR but 90% less cost so we can change inserts more often.

Acceptable quality at a good price. Thickness is 1,5mm as advertised. Many suppliers advertise 1,5mm and then deliver 2mm, but this one is exactly as advertised. Works very nice on Aluminium. Will buy again.
